Psalm 55:1-2 (NIVUK), Psalm 55:22 (NIVUK), Matthew 6:26 (NIVUK), Matthew 11:28-29 (NIVUK)
Only yesterday I was praying and fasting seeking the Lord for break through in different areas when he spoke to me very clearly as if to say, “Do you really know how much I care for you?”
How many times in scripture we hear exhortation to “cast your cares or burdens or anxiety onto God” including 1 Peter 5:7 and also in Matthew 11:28-29 here we see rather than allowing things that weigh us down we need to learn from Jesus!
It is all to easy for circumstances, worries and concerns to become heavy on our hearts when there is a God who desires to give us His heavenly perspective!
At the end of todays psalm there is a revelation verse! Psalm 55 v 22! “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you!” think about that for awhile meditate on it, ask yourself how big is your concerns compared to how big God is?!?
Consider the birds of the air and how your Father God feeds and clothes them (Matt 6:26) How much more does he care for you and me!
Get revelation today just how much the Lord cares for his creation! Especially human beings created in the image of God!
Dear Father God, show me this day the deeper revelation of just how much you care for me and let that be what motivates me to cast my anxiety, cares and concerns to you so that you may sustain me with freedom to live for you this day! Knowing that you Lord are in absolute control of my circumstances, my concerns that through you I may bring your hope and light into desparate situations. Amen.
