I’m sure we’ve all been there – in situations where you find yourself saying it’s not fair that the rich prosper & get richer saying, “What does God know? how can He help?” Yes for sure these people do well, they even get a name for themselves on earth but consider the eternal consequence!
Jesus said, “whoever has the son has life, whoever does not have the son does not have life” and then compare two stories in the bible:
The story of the Rich young ruler who had everything yet lacked one thing an unwillingness to submitt fully to the Lordship of Christ, instead his riches lorded over him!
And then look at Zaccheaus, he was rich yet he came to Jesus and his heart was so changed on encountering Christ his riches didnt control him!
Trust today in the richness you have in Christ! Not in earthly riches where theives or rust destroy, instead put you hope in Christ and today you are seated in heavenly places with him!

Rejoice that you belong to God (v23)
Come close to him, recount the wonderfull things he is and has done (v28)
Do not get discouraged today. Discover the eternal, everlasting hope that you have in Christ Jesus! Submitt your plans to him, talk to him about it and bring it under His Lordship because he desires to give you the desires of your heart – sometimes the reason we dont get is because we comparing and looking at what others have!
Dear Lord, help me today to focus on you and not compare myself to what others have but instead to trust daily in the hope I have in you so that I may tell of the womderfull things you are doing. Amen.
