I wonder if as Moses was growing up with Egyptians he felt inferior and suffered put-downs? It may explain his response repeated numerously in the chapters of Exodus in simular ways “But Moses argued with the Lord, saying, “I can’t do it! I’m such a clumsy speaker! Why should Pharaoh listen to me?””
Exodus 6:30 NLT
Its hardly surprising then God kept telling him loud I am with you at least in so many words.
Maybe Moses because of his upbringing had difficulty believing it!?!
It takes time to overcome old nature and especially in new situations its all to easy to fall back on old insecurity!
Yet we need to hear loud and clear what God says! It is this that our mind us renewed and gets into our heart so we walk it out daily.
Are you hearing what God is saying to you ir are you listening to past circumstances or voices in your head!?!
Instead choose today to listen to what your Heavenly Father says about you!
Its ok I f you don’t get it right away, I don’t think Moses did – but keep listening to God and the old voices will eventually die into insignificance!
