You may have heard me on air as Simon Richie on Panacea Radio. So why Simon Richie and not Richie G?
Firstly I think it makes a nice sounding radio name but that is not all, the name is derived from my pre-adopted name –
Simon James Garret was the name I was given when I was born. So I took the first name Simon, my new adopted name, Richard though these days that has become Richie, so hence Simon Ritchie. Adding the ‘t’ is totally unnecessary but marks out the name I guess.
