Foolish say there is no God

Psalm 14
The whole of scripture is God’s hear for humankind to know their God! Interestingly this song starts with “the fool says in his heart there is no God”

I remember having a conversation with a psychology student years ago talking about that if you can’t see something how do you know it exists? Kinda an absurd conversation but the reality proves the point if one says something doesn’t exist ‘in his heart’ that doesn’t stop the reality of the truth from prevailing!

The bible says in Joel & Romans “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” it is God’s desire to know people but each of us needs to call out to him. So then, the contrast of denying God & not calling out to him we see in this psalm is God’s wrath compare that to knowing his love, acceptance, real hope when we say to the Lord “help, I need you in my life” the worst upset to God is saying you don’t exist (unbelief)it grieves Holy Spirit who looks for hearts receptive to him.

If you haven’t already pray the simple prayer today, “Dear Lord, I call on you today, I’m sorry that my heart has for so long denied you, forgive me for my sin of unbelief. Help me today to discover what real life with you really is!” Amen.

If you’ve prayed this prayer please get in touch at amplifiradio and we’ll send you some info to help you.
