Reflections on Psalm 15
Previously in Psalm 14 we considered the perils and dangers of denying God – now we come to the contrast of living in away that is right.
Ponder for a moment the words in verse 1: there’s two areas where we need to know the Lord’s presence:
1. Abiding, dwelling for a moment in that place of worship entering in to that special time with him. Both alone and corporately with other believers.
2. Living daily out of the presence of God – to dwell (permanently) in Him. remember when Moses came down from the mountain he was living (for a moment) out of God’s presence! How much more today can we live out of His presence knowing our sins are forgiven because of Jesus!!
The rest of the psalm continues how to live daily with him. Jesus said “remain in me and I will remain in you” walking daily with him.
This morning enter in to the presence of God that you may today be led to live out of his presence as you go about your work today! That today people may see Jesus in you!
