Dear Awesome people!
it’s been awhile since i wrote a newsy letter and i’ll try and keep it brief and easy reading ’cause i know we all have busy lives and no time to read letters!
I really find it hard to believe that this year i have turned 50 and I’ve been in Ireland 8 years this September! I believe this year I’m going to see some changes, and part of that is taking time out in August to do a TESOL – it became apparent to me end of last year when I was over visiting a friend in Slovakia, that both my love for media, teaching & working with students, that a TESOL would be a benefit to me, whether through extra income or a new venture – it’s a first step! So i finally made the plunge and will be stepping out in faith to start the course in August. It does mean that I wont get paid fully in August, so making my budget work, in September (general living) and the course fees is a good faith challenge. However, the good news is, I’m only short of around €300 to cover the remainder of the course fees. I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped so far, if you’d still like to help then please let me know. My bank details are on the bottom of this letter.
Moving forward, my passion for mission and seeing children & young people mobilised doesn’t go away – it’s part of my DNA! I am sure I will still be part of Christian radio here in Ireland, yet I sense Father God is preparing me for something new as we go into the Autumn. Watch this space!
There is so much more I could write here, but I do want to keep this news short. I am so grateful to my church family here in Bray and I am looking forward to see some new things take shape in the autumn. (heck where’s the year going!?!)
Finally, I’m hoping to get over to the northern half of the UK in the autumn. I’d love to connect with you, and with those churches I enjoy a connection with. Please subscribe to my blog at http://www.richnews.info where i will endeavour to keep you up to date with my goings on.
Thank you for your continued interest, support and prayers. Look forward to catching up soon!
God bless you!
