Romans 8 v 26 Word for Sunday @Spiritradioire

“In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;”‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:26‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Perseverance is key! I just completed a Teaching English course (TESOL) though I started last August but didnt get through last year, so I had to re-sit the course. I could have said no and given up after failing last August deciding its not for me and given up, but instead I felt I had to persevere and trust God that I can do it!

Therefore, my hope is based on my understanding that God is with me and that I can do it! I certainly can give testimony of the Holy Spirit interceding for me because at times I felt inadequate and I get just the right word in season from a friend who calls me with a word of encouragement!

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:11, 24-25‬ ‭NASB‬‬

The Holy Spirit gives us strength to persevere and He knows exactly what you need. Remember that same Holy Spirit is at work in all believers so we shouldnt be surprised when someone else gives us exactly the right encouragement when we need it!

Today, be ready to encourage someone with a word in season because that word may well be direct from Holy Spirit and exactly what that person needs!
